How to calculate water/fliud intake in Kidney failure (CKD)
* The total amount of fluid intake = Calculate the total amount of urine output + 500ml i.e - the amount of urine output in last 24hrs is 200ml then the total fluid intake should be(200+500) 700ml ideally *it is advised as to take below one litter of fluid as most of the CKD pts 24hrs urine output is about 500ml.
